"How come they don't slide and crash?" asked Cubby. Just what I was wondering myself, son.
P.S. I just finished "Longbourne," thanks to your recommendation. I really liked it, thanks. Though I did have to force myself to ignore the incredibly long sentences, excess of punctuation, and the "and" that began half the sentences. That kind of writing style is not my favorite, but the story was so intriguing and otherwise well-written that I read it anyway. Still don't want to read "Pride and Prejudice," though.
