librivox

have you guys heard of libriVox? it is a project to record and make available for free audio versions of books that are in the public domain.

i heard about it with reference to this book and so far all i can tell you is that the downloading is easy and it loads just fine onto my ipod (better than audiobooks from my public library), but i have not listened to it yet, so i can't tell you about the quality of the reading or the recording.
