i have realized that when i have a helping of bread pudding, i ought to eat it off of a small plate, and not out of a soup plate, as i used to do.
the reason is simple: it is very hard to completely lick a concave surface.

ha ha ha :-) yes, pudding will get in your eyebrows.
Licking plates is a pleasure reserved for solo eating. Or rather, I reserve it for solo eating, lest I completely disgust my dining companions. But if I'm by myself? You best believe I'm licking remains of cake frosting from that plate.
