a while ago i saw vi hart talk about flexahexagons and of course i thought that these would be awesome to make and bring with me to my mom's for christmas dinner because there's nothing that livens up dinner like a basket of toys and gadgets to add to the festive atmosphere.and my friend barb was coming over to do crafty things anyway, so i thought hexaflexagons should be on our list.
there are a lot of templates available online and i thought maybe that was taking the cheap way out, but it turns out that while you CAN build them all froms scratch it's still a pretty good project with templates printed and everybody at dinner likes them just fine the way they are.
