since my annoyance with little miss thing of last week seems to resonate with some of you other old folk, here's a little tune you can hum to yourself while you sit in your rocking chair balancing your checkbook:
I love that. Though I must admit I realized that many of the examples of grown-up activities cease when one has children. By choice, but still. I'm not staying up late looking at stars because I still have to get up at 5 a.m. and care for small people no matter what. So maybe having kids brings adults back down to the level of dependent?
Though I can still eat an entire chocolate bar in one go should I choose to, a pleasure not yet afforded to my small sons, so there is that.
